Porcelain Veneers

What are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are designed to cover up the front teeth, revealing a healthy and bright smile. Veneers are ideal for patients who have chipped, broken, unevenly spaced, stained and discolored front teeth. Rather than work on repairing and enhancing one tooth at a time, veneers can be made and placed over the existing teeth. Most veneers are able to last for about a decade or more with the proper care.

Why might Porcelain Veneers be needed?

If you want to look your best for a special event or you’re just tired of feeling embarrassed by your smile, it might be time to consider porcelain veneers. The veneer procedure is easy, quick and provides you with a gorgeous smile that you’ll want to show off. Veneers can be used to cover up imperfections and flaws like cracks, chips, discoloration and staining. Veneers can even turn back the hands of time, allowing you to look as young as you feel.

They are simply the best. The professionalism is outstanding. The respect and kindness they show is beyond compare. And I haven’t even mentioned their skill set. Best dentist I’ve ever been to.

Who is a candidate for Porcelain Veneers?

Veneers are best for otherwise healthy adult patients. Your teeth should be healthy and free of decay before the veneers are placed. If you have older porcelain veneers, we can easily replace these in our office. Our goal is to provide you with a full smile that you’ll have for years to come.

What happens during the Porcelain Veneer procedure?

We start by slightly buffing and roughing up the front teeth. This helps the new veneers to adhere better, and it prevents them from looking too bulky. Impressions are taken and then used to make the permanent veneers. You will come in for a second visit to have the veneers placed. We can make minor adjustments to the veneers in our office. In order to keep your veneers looking their best, it is important that you brush them as you would your normal teeth and floss carefully between them each day.
